Responsibilities

Conduct confidential virtual medical consultations (video call) focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and medical management of a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, including: stable angina, congestive heart failure (CHF) optimization, atrial fibrillation management, evaluation of chest pain, and management of complex hyperlipidemia/hypertension

Perform accurate remote assessment and differential diagnosis of cardiovascular symptoms (e.g., palpitations, syncope, dyspnea on exertion)

Develop and deliver evidence-based, specialty-specific treatment plans, including optimizing guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT), reviewing anticoagulation regimens, and issuing electronic prescriptions following all regulatory guidelines

Review and interpret diagnostic studies such as ECGs, Holter monitoring reports, echocardiogram results, and stress test data to guide virtual care

Coordinate care and execute timely, appropriate referrals for cases requiring in-person evaluation, cardiac catheterization, device implantation (pacemaker/ICD), or cardiac surgery

Offer specialized preventive care advice related to cardiovascular risk reduction, lifestyle modifications, and post-procedural/post-MI secondary prevention

Maintain accurate, secure, and confidential digital health records (EHR) in compliance with privacy and ethical standards

Perform wellness seminars and provide expertise on topics related to heart health and cardiovascular disease management for our members
