Law Practice
Responsibilities
Independently manage a variety of immigration matters, including but not limited to: Employment-based immigration (H-1B, L-1, PERM, etc.)
Investor and EB-5 immigration cases
Family-based immigration petitions (I-130, adjustment of status, consular processing, etc.)
Work visas and business immigration matters
Immigration court and removal defense proceedings
Reviewing and supervising the work of junior attorneys, law clerks, and paralegals
Qualification
Required
J.D. or LL.M. degree from an accredited U.S. law school
Minimum 2 years of immigration law experience
Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese required
Ability to independently manage a variety of immigration matters, including but not limited to: Employment-based immigration (H-1B, L-1, PERM, etc.), Investor and EB-5 immigration cases, Family-based immigration petitions (I-130, adjustment of status, consular processing, etc.), Work visas and business immigration matters, Immigration court and removal defense proceedings
Responsible, efficient, and detail-oriented
Strong legal writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Admission to practice law in the State of New York
