The Senior Ocean Pricing Analyst is responsible for providing accurate and competitive ocean pricing quotations and managing responses for USA quotations related to ocean accounts.

Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of responses for USA quotations pertaining to ocean accounts
Works within set Ocean MSR Guidelines and National Trucking Rates established
Escalates any potential procurement negotiation required for large/critical volume accounts
Work directly with ocean carriers to develop pricing responses where needed (reefer + OOG cargo)
Support Branch, Local Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Lane Operations for all questions regarding Quotations
Maintains all records of completed and pending Quotations and monitors hit rate
Work with Branch and Trade Lane Operations to review any areas of pricing related to losses on accounts and work through solutions to resolve
Consistently request and provide feedback for quotes created

Qualification

Ocean pricing experienceLogistics degreeWarehouse management softwareMicrosoft Office SuiteFluent in English

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position
At least 2-3 years of ocean pricing experience role is required for this position
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with warehouse management software is required

Preferred

A bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or a related field is preferred
