As a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Temenos, you will configure, develop, and maintain core banking modules in a cloud-based environment, supporting the implementation of banking functionality and ensuring system stability.

Responsibilities
Configure Temenos Transact modules: customer onboarding, accounts, deposits, loans, limits & charges, product localisation, and wallet/payment configurations
Develop enhancements and customisations using the Temenos technical stack:
JBASE/jBC
TAFC/TAFJ
Routines, Versions, Local Changes
OFS/OFSML
REST APIs and ISO messaging
Implement and maintain integrations for cross-border payments, FX workflows, external systems, and multi-currency services
Work within cloud-based or SaaS Temenos deployments, supporting configuration, release workflows, and repeatable rollout frameworks (e.g., “build once, deploy anywhere”)
Troubleshoot technical issues, resolve defects, optimise performance, and support batch processing and operational stability
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and client teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure high-quality technical delivery
Ensure developments follow Temenos best practices, are scalable, and support multi-jurisdiction regulatory localisation
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Temenos Transact (T24) and its core modules
Proficiency in jBASE/jBC development
Proficiency in TAFC/TAFJ customisation tools
Proficiency in OFS, OFSML, integration services
Proficiency in REST APIs, ISO 20022, message-based integrations
Understanding of cross-border payments, FX workflows, multi-currency or multi-region operating models (or motivation to learn quickly)
Experience configuring product parameters such as limits, tariffs, localisation, product versions, and payment/wallet configurations
Familiarity with cloud-based or SaaS core banking deployments and multi-country rollout patterns
Solid SQL/database knowledge (Oracle, MSSQL, or similar)
Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary and international teams
Preferred
Experience with Temenos Model Bank or digital channels (Infinity, TCIB)
Exposure to cross-border payment schemes, ISO 20022, SWIFT, or payment-network integrations
Cloud or DevOps experience (AWS, Azure) with financial-services systems
Background in Agile environments with continuous delivery practices
