MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (REGIONAL ANALYTICS)

Responsibilities
Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Northeast Region Office and are assigned based on the need of the agency
Defines procedures and guidance to extract, assess, and/or re-define data from enterprise-level systems for complex data requests, including the development of Tableau dashboards
Advanced scripting, SQL, Databricks data processing, data validation, and analytics to support regional operational decision-making. Skilled in high-level coding for efficient analysis and reporting
Analyzes facts of a data request or data pull and assembles the data using mathematical, statistical, and qualitative methodologies
Communicates the results of data mining and analysis in comprehensive reports to decision-makers
Ensures that accurate, appropriately concise, and timely information is available to executive management officials
Qualification
Required
You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National to apply for this position
Successfully pass a Background Investigation including financial disclosure

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service
You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government
Performing a variety of analytical studies and projects related to management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls, and long-range planning
Providing recommendations to parties dealing with various management levels throughout an agency or organization
Resolving problems and issues associated with the planning, coordination, and implementation of agency programs and activities
