Responsibilities
Perform structural and static analysis on spacecraft hardware and subsystems
Lead strength and load evaluations to ensure components withstand launch and orbital stresses
Define and support test plans, including vibration, shock, and environmental validation
Collaborate closely with design and test engineers to troubleshoot and refine spacecraft systems
Document requirements and provide engineering guidance across payload and satellite teams
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in mechanical/structural analysis for space systems including static load testing
Proficiency in FEM tools (NASTRAN, ANSYS, HyperWorks, or similar)
Knowledge of environmental qualification standards and testing methods
Strong communication skills and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
Preferred
advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
