Channel Marketing Manager
Hornetsecurity, now a dedicated business unit within Proofpoint, is seeking a motivated Marketing Manager to help drive growth in the US market. In this role, you will support regional channel marketing initiatives, work closely with sales teams and partners, and develop local marketing campaigns aligned with global objectives.
Responsibilities
You work hand-in-hand with Hornetsecurity US regional marketing team to execute the regional marketing strategy and tactics
You play a pivotal role within the region, working closely with our sales team, distributors and channel partners to organize, monitor and drive effective regional campaigns to attract interest in our suite of world-leading security, compliance and backup solutions
You help organize events and our participation in various trade shows while also coordinating various other sales and marketing campaigns
You develop and execute the annual marketing plan for US based on our global goals and marketing objectives
You are responsible for creation and rollout of local marketing campaigns in close alignment with our central marketing department
You work closely with other international Marketing teams to coordinate campaigns and activities, also often supporting our efforts as needed
You coordinate cross-functionally with team leads and external agencies and ensure the launch of new products, business development, branding, shows etc
You track your marketing campaigns and compile reports to determine the most successful ones
You are involved in actively managing the marketing budget and plan for the US region
Qualification
Required
You hold a degree in marketing and/or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
You have 5+ years of professional experience in marketing and have sound knowledge in all areas of marketing
You have significant experience working as a marketing manager in the US market and understand the regional business landscape well
You have hands-on channel marketing experience and have successfully collaborated with a wide range of US-based IT MSPs and distributors
You tackle things proactively and do tasks today rather than tomorrow
You are a team player and work very well with cross functional teams and external agencies
Preferred
Ideally, you have prior experience in the cybersecurity industry
You are interested in new technologies and are curious about IT security topics, trends, and products
