Director of Federal Sales
Trident Search is a VC-backed cybersecurity startup focused on transforming investigations and connected-device security for the U.S. Government. The Director of Federal Sales will be responsible for driving revenue and building relationships within Federal agencies, DoD, and IC, while developing the Federal business from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Pipeline creation and strategic account development
Complex, multi-stakeholder deal execution
Federal GTM strategy and territory ownership
Partner and SI ecosystem development
Qualification
Required
A proven Federal cybersecurity sales leader (10+ years' experience)
Deeply connected across DoD, IC, and/or Fed Civ senior level decision makers
Excellent understanding of Federal programs, buying patterns / budget timelines and how to influence senior level decision makers
A consistent net-new logo hunter with multi-million-dollar deal success. You will have a clear, +$1.5M Per Annum successful track record
Fluent in Federal procurement, mission drivers, and buying cycles
Experienced in early-stage or scaling cybersecurity startups – we Need a hunter, someone who can go out and win new business VS someone who has been given it
Comfortable building process, playbooks, and structure from zero
