Responsibilities

Provides a safe, secure and productive work environment for our associates at all Company sites. Manages all construction sites and contractors in accordance with OSHA guidelines and internal company policies

Determines the environmental needs for new and existing company facilities. Manages the design and construction of these additions and modifications. Assists Environmental Managers in the areas of air pollution control device design and implementation, wastewater, water supply, sludge management, air quality, solid waste, hazardous waste, storm water and recycling

Provides engineering support to the PAB Project Management and PAB Environmental function. Works with associates to improve the processes and supports their capital plan as needed

Provides guidance to the Director of Environmental, Chief Compliance Officer, and their management teams in developing solutions and budgets for improving processes, maintaining facilities, and innovative problem solving related to environmental compliance

This position has a travel expectation of 20%-35%

Required

BS degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Civil or Environmental Engineering or related discipline

6-8 years related work experience

Technical experience in construction, environmental regulations, air compliance, project management, and energy utility consumption

Demonstrated competency in problem solving, negotiating, managing people, and establishing and meeting schedules

Ability to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings

Frequent plant and project site visits are required

Adequate computer skills with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

Preferred

Professional Engineer License

Water and Wastewater Operations Experience

Experience with Air emissions controlled devices such as baghouses and cyclones
