Responsibilities
As a member of the design group, contributes to the preparation of design calculations and the development of quantities for assigned structural projects, providing design and detailing for bridges, retaining walls, and other highway structures across a broad range of transportation initiatives
The role involves adhering to established quality control and assurance protocols, assisting with field inspections and operations, and applying engineering principles along with relevant design codes and specifications to deliver safe, economical, and sustainable designs
The candidate will work under the direct supervision of a licensed P.E. as part of a diverse, multidisciplinary team of planners and engineers
Qualification
Required
BSCE or BCE
Entry level up to 2 years of highway design experience
Experience with MS Office applications
Preferred
GA FE (EIT)
Experience with Bentley MicroStation V8 or similar
