Environmental Group Manager

CONSOR Engineers is seeking an experienced professional to lead their Environmental Group in Draper, UT. The role involves guiding and mentoring a team, managing environmental projects, and developing business strategies for growth in the environmental services sector.

Responsibilities

Lead and review technical work, including site assessments, compliance studies, feasibility analyses, remedial design, and system operations
Oversee and/or participate in the preparation of various state and federal environmental documents
Oversee and/or participate in field activities including noise collection, wetland delineation, and other field surveys
Manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget goals are met
Maintain a strong focus on health and safety in all project work
Own the overall strategy and performance of the Environmental business line in Draper
Partner with leadership to develop annual business projections, revenue targets, and growth goals
Monitor key performance indicators and adjust strategies to ensure financial and operational objectives are met
Supervise and mentor a diverse team of environmental scientists and engineers
Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to support continued growth
Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performance culture
Build and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients
Prepare proposals and lead efforts to win new work in the local market
Expand our service offerings and market presence in Utah and beyond

Required

Understanding of the transportation marketplace
8+ years of relevant environmental consulting experience, including project and program management
3+ years of supervisory experience leading technical teams
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geology, environmental Science, or a related field (master's preferred)
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license
