Responsibilities

Support a single product line which could include either Low Voltage Assemblies, Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, Medium Voltage Assemblies or Medium Voltage Switchgear
Prepare Bills of Material and CAD drawings, including control schematics and wiring diagrams, which shop personnel follow to build into a completed product meeting the customer requirement
Maintain engineering schedule to ensure drawings are released and parts are ordered in time to support the Production build schedule
Maintain good working relationships with Power Center Production team, Product Applications Engineers, Supply Chain, customers, distributors and Eaton Sales personnel in support of a quality customer service effort
Stay abreast of Eaton technical product developments and industry standards through training or other means
Provide technical support for customers and plant personnel
Support Warranty Technician and investigate warranty requests to determine root cause and solution to help customer
Actively drive and participate in a culture of 'Safety First'
Support product line quality, using and modifying quality check sheets, peer review processes, and NCR Root Cause/Corrective Action investigations
Actively contribute to Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Must have experience with AutoCad, Inventor or similiar related software
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Wilsonville, OR facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
At least 1 year of professional experience in support of manufacturing through assignments in sales, inventory control, clerical, or production
