Responsibilities
The Care Experience Ambassador performs as a patient and family advocate to coordinate the resolution of patient care issues and concerns; ensuring the clinical experience is reviewed thoroughly and properly documented through resolution
This position will work closely with Quality Management on issue resolution
This position will collaborate with all disciplines and leadership to improve tangible outcomes related to patient experience and engagement and participates on appropriate teams
This role will demonstrate excellent communication and relational skills, as well as exhibit a positive and professional image of Mission Health North Carolina Division HCA in both words and actions
In addition, the Care Experience Ambassador will assist leadership in the assessment, coaching and hardwiring of patient experience tools and communication
The Ambassador will focus and work with clinical and support departments to ensure exceptional experience at each touch point throughout the continuum
Qualification
Required
Bachelor Degree
None
3 years experience with customer/patient service
Demonstrates excellence in written and verbal communication skills and ability to coach and teach
Ability to work flexible hours which may include weekends
Preferred
Master's Degree in Health Care, or related field
Experience in complaint resolution and CPI
Ability or work with spreadsheets and databases
