Responsibilities
Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) through company’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to support projects in phases of production, engineering changes implementation, commissioning and/or service, according to M-BoM’s and manufacturing and inspections plans, and ensuring the right timing and localization of materials during the life of projects
Coordinating materials expediting and monitoring efforts reporting feasibility status and following escalation protocol on criticalities
Planning and coordinating sequence of material movements and warehouse operations to ensure proper handling structure and capability in compliance with technical specifications and regional safety rules
Planning, creation, release and maintenance of ERP generated production orders for manufacturing providing clear visibility on material status, production feasibility and top offenders per commodity
Guaranteeing effective management of non-conformities, coordinating along with internal engineering and quality control departments, proper and timely materials flow through diverse disposition cycles
Ensuring material availability for service and maintenance operations through MRP launching
Leading as product owner current initiatives of digitalization and automation of the supply chain and integrating multidisciplinary teams inside and outside the organization
Qualification
Required
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: supply chain planning
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: production planning and control
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: vendor evaluation and expediting
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: project management
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: contractual delivery schedule negotiation
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: reporting and escalation of risks and criticalities to top management
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: cost controlling and budgeting
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: intralogistics and warehouse operations
Must have two years of experience with each of the following: logistics and inventory management within the manufacturing industry
Experience must include: processing large supply chain and inventory data
Experience must include: monitoring fulfillment of delivery schedules managing change requirements based on production demands
Experience must include: conceptualizing large-picture projects and foreseeing challenges and needs to be addressed
Experience must include: supply chain software systems (SAP, Oracle, or AS/400)
Experience must include: managing quality issues that represent potential risks for manufacturing
Experience must include: negotiating contracts with vendors/suppliers
Experience must include: reporting to top management
Experience must include: implementing and following escalation policies for problem resolution methodology
Must have knowledge of: Materials Requirement Process, including production planning module
Must have knowledge of: advanced warehouse operations
Must have knowledge of: quality management
Must have knowledge of: accounting module
Must have knowledge of: manufacturing execution modules
Must be highly proficient in Excel
Master's degree in quality control systems or quality management
Two years of management experience implementing and maintaining quality systems within the manufacturing industry supply chain
