Responsibilities

Develop and implement core software features for the Form Now print-on-demand service
Architect and build the next generation of factory software, including our custom Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
Create robust backend code using Python/Django, and user-facing frontend code with Next.js and React.js
Collaborate cross-functionally with factory operators, product managers, and leadership to define and deliver new features and integrations
Take full ownership of your projects, from initial scoping and development to testing, implementation, and ongoing support
Maintain and improve our existing codebase, ensuring reliability and scalability in a production environment

Required

Proven track record as a Full-stack Web Developer with experience in a production environment
Entrepreneurial and flexible problem-solver, comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced, agile development environment
Ability to work autonomously, moving quickly from idea to implementation, and aren't afraid to experiment, iterate, and refine solutions based on what you learn
Enjoy taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Willingness to work on-site in Billerica, MA as needed to test, debug, and release factory software
Develop and implement core software features for the Form Now print-on-demand service

Preferred

Experience with 3D models, processing, or analysis
Experience with web development in a mixed local/cloud hybrid setup
Background working with hardware or equipment, or an appreciation for the bridge between software and the physical world
Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD
Familiarity with data engineering and dashboarding tools
