Structural Engineer (Buildings & Infrastructure) – EIT or PE Preferred
HC Solutions Group has partnered with a nationally recognized engineering firm to recruit a Structural Engineer. This role offers the opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure structures, where the engineer will be responsible for analysis, design, and review of building and structural systems.

Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures
Develop construction documents, specifications, and structural calculations
Design foundations, retaining walls, framing systems, and lateral force-resisting systems
Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors throughout design and construction
Conduct structural analysis and rehabilitation design for bridges and civil structures
Prepare load ratings, seismic evaluations, and retrofit/rehabilitation designs
Support construction engineering services, including shoring, scaffolding, and temporary works
Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs during construction
Perform site visits and structural inspections
Prepare technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates
Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and client communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
3+ years of structural engineering experience
EIT required; PE/SE preferred (or ability to obtain)
Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, or similar)
Knowledge of building codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE 7, NDS, etc.)
Strong technical, communication, and teamwork skills
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
PE/SE license
