Responsibilities
Supporting modeling and simulation of aircraft power systems, including active/passive power conversion equipment, motor controllers, electric motors and generators, and power distribution/protection components
Perform simulations to analyze power quality
Evaluate equipment and system-level failure modes
Support the design and validation of protection schemes
Assisting with technical requirements development
Documenting complex electric power system requirements
Validating them through simulation and test
Qualification
Required
Background in power systems, power electronics, or automatic controls
Strong experience in modeling and simulation
