Vivid Technology is working with a leading Satellite Communications provider, who is seeking a Senior Antenna Engineer. The role involves leading the design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of RF and antenna modules for Ku- and Ka-band user terminals.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize phased array antennas and RF systems for SatCom terminals
Lead full-wave EM simulations and generate antenna design packages
Develop and execute test plans, manage lab setups, and produce test reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to integrate antenna systems
Support prototype fabrication and production ramp-up for manufacturing partners

Required

MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Physics with antenna research experience
5+ years in SatCom antenna design and development, including phased array antennas and RF system architecture
Expertise with HFSS, CST, or equivalent simulation tools, and RF test equipment (VNA, signal generators, spectrum analyzers)
Strong understanding of antenna design principles, microwave theory, and AESA architectures

Preferred

Experience with advanced PCB radiators, beamforming chips, and polarizers is a plus
