Responsibilities
Create CNC programs using Mastercam for tight-tolerance, high-precision parts
Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring every part meets blueprint and GD&T requirements
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
Partner with engineering and production teams to optimize toolpaths, cycle times, and quality
Develop clear work instructions, process documentation, and quality records
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues with a calm, confident approach
Log accurate setup, programming, and run times in the ERP system
Mentor machinists and operators, sharing your expertise to strengthen the team
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that reduce waste, boost efficiency, and enhance output
Handle basic machine maintenance—coolant, oil levels, and general care
Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on CNC programming experience with CAD/CAM systems, preferably experience with Mastercam
Fanuc control experience
Strong background in high-precision machining environments
Deep knowledge of machining processes, tool selection, speeds/feeds, and optimization
Excellent blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
Mechanical aptitude, strong math ability, and sharp problem solving skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred
Mastercam: 1 year
Fanuc control: 1 year
