Responsibilities

Support both rapid prototyping and detailed hardware development

Coordinate and support all aspects of control system design, development, and test

Required

Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant ABET-accredited STEM degree with 5 years of relevant experience

Motor control center design, layout, integration, and test

Low voltage (LV) to medium voltage (MV) Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) and programmable logic controller (PLC) integration

Proficiency in Rockwell Automation PLC Programming

Working knowledge of Studio 5000 and Factory Talk software

Testing and debugging of PLC control system

Preferred

Ability to establish network communications and remote Windows workstations

Knowledge of National Instruments DAQ systems

Electrical system design, layout, integration, and test

Experience in developing and interpreting electrical schematics

Comfortable working in a prototyping environment

Knowledge of applicable safety codes
