Responsibilities
Designing and planning of layout component fabrication, assembly and material handling
Planning of sequence of operations
Specification procedures
Interpreting electronic drawings
Planning processes
Using MRP systems
Developing/designing support hardware and review engineering drawings
Developing and implementing manufacturing fabrication and assembly processes and systems
Managing processes in accordance with the Lean methodology which will include process certification, process improvement methods (e.g. Kaizen, 3P, VSM, etc.)
Determining tight tolerance machining
Welding support
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship only, no dual citizenship
SECRET CLEARANCE role
Good industry experience with Aviation and Aerospace Component Manufacturing/Defence/ Space Manufacturing
Hands-on experience in a machine shop environment (machining, welding, fabrication, tool building)
Interpreting electronic drawings
Planning processes and using MRP systems
Understanding electronic systems/MRP systems
Knowledge of electronic drawings
Understanding the processes of machining and welding
Ability to know the drawing and what type of processes (type of machine, weld, quality check) are needed to manufacture/fabricate the part
Experience fabricating tools
