Responsibilities

Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identify worn and damaged parts
Overhaul and repair engines or motors; disassemble engines and repair or replace defective parts; reassemble engines and make adjustments as needed; use oxygen-acetylene, electro arc-welding or similar types of equipment
Perform preventive maintenance, maintain and repair engines, and oil and lubricate engine and chassis
Install timing gears, crankshafts, bearings, cylinders, and drive systems
Must have good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor

Required

Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record to operate commercial motor vehicles
Adhere to all local state (provincial) and federal vehicular regulations while driving
High school diploma or equivalent
