They are seeking a Production Planner who will manage the ERP system and expedite orders to meet customer delivery requirements. The role involves scheduling production jobs, developing shop schedules, and coordinating production workflow to ensure maximum performance and minimal delays.

Responsibilities

Schedule production jobs and workflow

Develop shop schedules – by creating and maintaining work orders

Review work order action required report and ensure due dates are aligned with the customer requirements

Determine if the dates are realistic and achievable to available capacity and resources

Issue material requisitions to purchasing

The production planner schedules product lines to meet changing monthly forecasts while managing inventory levels

Create weekly production timetable

Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products, as well as planning and prioritizing operations in a manner that guarantees maximum performance with reduced delay

Design weekly manufacturing plan to meet target load objectives and satisfy the organization’s inventory and shipment plan goals

Support customer service on new customer requests inside of standard lead time

Participate in daily production meetings to track performance and identify work orders slipping and determine plans to get back on schedule working with production departments as required

Maintain promise dates on customer portal (PWA SNC System)
