Academic Clinical or Counseling Psychologist (NTT)
The University of Missouri-Columbia is seeking a full-time doctoral level clinical or counseling psychologist who is license eligible in Missouri. The position will focus on behavioral health service in orthopaedic trauma surgery and joint preservation as part of an integrated team, providing comprehensive services for adult medical patients.

Responsibilities
Focus on both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health care, in collaboration with the orthopaedic trauma and joint preservation teams, to maximize functional recovery for patients and to coordinate care across specialties for provision of integrated care
Provide comprehensive services for adult medical patients with a special emphasis on joint preservation, orthopaedic trauma, pain management, health behavior changes, and treatment adherence
Involvement in the limb preservation trauma team
Opportunity to collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians and researchers from across MU
Qualification
Required
Ph.D or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited institution
Completed an APA-accredited internship
License eligible in the state of Missouri
Internship experience in medical settings
Training and experience in general clinical health psychology
Preferred
Board-certified or board-certified eligible applicants in rehabilitation psychology or health psychology
Experience treating medical patients
Experience in working with individuals for health behavior changes and have interest in working on interdisciplinary care teams
