Responsibilities

Define and maintain the overall software architecture for complex systems and applications

Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve system performance and scalability

Ensure security, reliability, and compliance in all software designs

Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on system integration and interoperability

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation

Required

Must be a US Citizen with active/current Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain

BS in Computer Science

5+ years of experience

Agile Methodologies

Proficiency in at least one backend language: C#, Python, Java, or equivalent

Javascript, Typescript

UML or equivalents

Jira, Azure Devops Boards, or equivalents

Docker or Podman

Technical writing skills for ICDs and other architectural documentation

Experience developing microservices in a container-based environment

Preferred

Experience supporting government or Department of War (DoW) systems

Background in full-stack engineering or development, with the ability to collaborate across infrastructure, development, and QA teams

Experience creating long-range roadmaps

Experience with maintaining software requirements alongside systems engineers, and establishing requirements traceability to capabilities

Experience integrating DevSecOps principles into software architecture
