Director, Business Development (Remote - US)
ebbo is seeking a results-oriented Director of Business Development who will be an integral member of their team. This sales role focuses on generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals, particularly in the Retail, CPG, Hospitality, and Services sectors. The ideal candidate will also have a background in loyalty and customer engagement programs for brands.

Responsibilities
Prospect into companies to uncover business development opportunities
Ability to scope out a solution after listening to client objectives
Utilize existing relationships to gain meetings and opportunities with key stakeholders
Work with selected resellers or intermediaries to broaden our sales reach and network
Collaborate with internal product, client services, creative, technology and legal teams to develop the best possible solutions
Present appropriate solutions to advance opportunities and close sales
Negotiate deals, obtain internal deal sign-off, and work with legal team, product team and to configure agreements and statements of work
Win business and transition relationship post-sale to client services, product and technology teams
Utilize Sales Management tools to assist with and track sales efforts, conversations, meetings, proposals and contracts
Travel is required in this position – anticipated 15% of the time
Qualification
Required
3-5+ years of proven sales success
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and winning large, strategic deals
Highly resourceful, goal-oriented self-starter
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent organization, initiative, follow-up, and communication skills
Tactful persistence with clients and is not afraid of selling
Patience for a sometimes-longer sales cycle with detailed follow-up necessary
Ability to articulate a strategic solution and deliver winning presentations
Ability to quickly respond to opportunities and to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated success selling to senior and C-level executives
Ability to scope out a solution after listening to client objectives

Preferred
A background in loyalty, customer engagement or monetization programs for brands a plus
Experience in selling customer loyalty/engagement/experience/Monetization solutions is a big plus
