Responsibilities
Designs and develops high quality software solutions by writing clean, maintainable and efficient codes
Leads the application of internal software deployment platform, continuous integration or continuous delivery pipeline and twelve factor development methodology to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and reliable releases
Partners with cross functional team of product managers, designers and other engineers to gather complex requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
Writes and maintains complex unit tests and integration tests, and performs debugging to maintain the quality and performance of the software, applying test driven development as needed
Recommends options for improving the software development and deployment processes, and implements the approved standards to improve efficiency and reliability
Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation for complex software applications, deployment processes and system configurations
Provides technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues with deployed applications to ensure minimal downtime and fast resolution
Qualification
Required
Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience
Preferred
Deep expertise in IBM WebSphere and Oracle WebLogic administration, including clustering, performance tuning, and secure configurations
Strong knowledge of web hosting technologies (Apache, IIS) and reverse proxy/load balancing (IBM HTTP Server, Oracle HTTP Server, NGINX or equivalent)
Experience with automation and scripting (wsadmin, WLST, Python, Shell) and integration with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with security best practices, SSL/TLS, authentication (LDAP, SSO), and compliance standards
Proficiency in monitoring and performance optimization using tools like AppDynamics or Datadog. Exposure to cloud hosting and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for middleware workloads
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to lead complex platform initiatives
