Part-time Bookkeeper

LHH is seeking a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a contract position in Chicago, IL. The role involves analyzing business documents, summarizing financial statuses, and assisting with month-end close among other bookkeeping responsibilities.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Analyze and process business documents
Summarize current financial status
Assist with month-end close
Prepare financial and operational variance analysis for management
Reconcile financial discrepancies
Post and reconcile daily cash activities
Post journal entries to the general ledger
Maintain and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts
Complete wire transfers
Ensure all receivables and payables are accurately tracked
Serve as backup to Senior Accountants

Qualification

Bookkeeping experienceQuickBooks experienceAdvanced Microsoft ExcelAnalytical skillsVerbal communicationWritten communicationTeam-orientedDetail-oriented

Required

At least one year of Bookkeeping experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
QuickBooks experience required
Ability to work three full days per week
Strong analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team-oriented and detail-oriented
