Responsibilities
Ensure accurate reconciliation of all bank accounts on a monthly basis to maintain financial integrity
Oversee the reconciliation and accountability of various balance sheet accounts, including comprehensive management of bank accounts, fixed assets, and equity accounts
Accurately track job costs for projects in both the pre-development and development phases, ensuring transparency and accountability
Reconcile all inter-company general ledger accounts to support accurate financial reporting
Conduct thorough analysis and distribution of monthly budget versus actual reports, providing insights to enhance financial decision-making
Assist the Controller or CFO in cash flow forecasting and analysis, contributing to strategic financial planning
Prepare the general ledgers that culminate in internal and external financial statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Facilitate year-end audit procedures and tax preparation, providing essential support for financial reviews and filings
Diligently monitor, manage, and accurately record all contracts within budget line items to ensure adherence to financial goals
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
3-5 years of general accounting experience, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in essential software applications, including MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Previous experience in the commercial or residential real estate industry
