Responsibilities

Assisting senior engineers with the evaluation, study and design of stormwater systems
Work on a variety of projects including municipal and county, to complete roadway, stormwater, underground utility, and infrastructure improvements
Field work, studies and design of stormwater retrofit systems in response to future sea level rise
Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling computation and analysis
Work independently on a variety of tasks including CAD, Drainage Design, Quantity Computation, Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Systems Design, and Data Collection

Required

Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0
Available to start May 2026
Ability to travel throughout Palm Beach County and Broward County areas (own transportation)
Ability to work in a team environment on a variety of projects
Strong verbal, computer, organizational, and writing skills
