Responsibilities

Overseeing supplier and campus communications
Providing customer service and purchasing guidance
Maintaining accurate purchasing and compliance records
Reconciling purchasing card accounts
Assisting with bid and quote processes
Processing requisitions and authorizing purchase orders in line with College and State of Ohio policies
Analyzing bids
Recommending awards
Applying current public and higher-education purchasing standards
Assists with maintaining and updating purchasing content on websites and SharePoint

Required

Associate Degree
Experience in purchasing operations
Knowledge of public and higher-education purchasing standards
Strong analytical skills
Ability to manage supplier relationships

Experience with bid and quote processes
Ability to process requisitions and authorize purchase orders
Ability to analyze bids and recommend awards
Ability to work on moderately complex problems
Ability to apply established policies and procedures
Ability to guide junior staff
Ability to use sound judgment and professional expertise
