Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter ETL workflows, mappings, and sessions
Perform complex data analysis, data profiling, and root cause investigation for data quality issues
Develop high-performance Oracle SQL and PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages
Optimise, troubleshoot, and tune ETL jobs and database queries for maximum performance
Implement and enhance automation of ETL processes, including scheduling, monitoring, and exception handling
Work across the full Waterfall SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver accurate and reliable data solutions
Prepare technical documentation, mapping sheets, job design documents, and support guides
Provide on-call support for production ETL jobs as required
Qualification
Required
9+ years of experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter (9.x / 10.4)
Strong expertise in Informatica workflows, mappings, transformations, and performance tuning
Advanced skills in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling
Experience with ETL job automation, scheduling tools, and monitoring frameworks
Solid experience working in Waterfall SDLC environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on complex data issues
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
Preferred
Informatica PowerCenter certification
Experience with Unix shell scripting or other automation tools
Exposure to version control tools such as Git, SVN, or Bitbucket
