Responsibilities

Be the voice of Carrum Health to our patients throughout their journey

Guide patients through the Carrum program, from initial screening to post-discharge care

Provide comprehensive non-medical instruction, support, and guidance to patients in understanding the cost and quality implications of their decision

Work closely with clinical teams at Carrum’s Centers of Excellence

Collaborate with other Patient Care team members to continuously evaluate where procedures can be streamlined or policies updated

Work cross-functionally to ensure the patient’s voice is addressed in everything from product development to marketing and customer success

Test patient-facing and internal tools and provide feedback prior to release

Qualification

Required

2-5+ years of experience as a care navigator, care coordinator, or customer services representative

Excellent interpersonal skills: empathetic, courteous, friendly, helpful

A natural understanding of what high-touch customer service and support entails

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Ability to tactfully and effectively handle potentially upset patients

Discretion in working with confidential information

Superior judgment, problem solving, and organizational skills

Experience working with Google Suite and Microsoft Office

Entrepreneurial and resourceful — As an early member of a startup, we need people who can find creative ways to make a big impact quickly and without much direction

Experience handling deadlines, keeping many balls in the air, and prioritizing work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
