Level 2 Systems Engineer
Davis Technology Management is a successful technology company in the IT staffing, Technology Consulting and IT Managed Services sector. They are seeking a Level 2 Systems Engineer to support their Managed Services practice, focusing on advanced troubleshooting, client communication, and hands-on technical support across diverse environments.

Responsibilities
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause resolution across Windows desktops, servers, networks, and cloud services
Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and common SaaS platforms
Manage tickets escalated from Level 1 and serve as the primary point of contact for higher-complexity issues
Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and monitoring across client infrastructures
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and VPNs
Assist with onboarding of new clients, including environment assessments and documentation
Deploy and support backup solutions, security tools, and remote monitoring systems
Collaborate with senior engineers on project-based work such as server deployments, migrations, and modernization initiatives
Qualification
Required
A strong Level 2 engineer with 3–5+ years of experience in IT support and systems administration
Solid experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and virtualization (Hyper-V or VMware)
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure AD, and modern cloud-based solutions
Comfort with networking fundamentals, including firewalls and switching (SonicWall, UniFi, Fortinet, or similar)
A problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment, communicates clearly, and enjoys helping clients
Someone who values documentation, consistency, and continuous improvement
Preferred
MSP background strongly preferred, including familiarity with ticketing, SLAs and multi-client environments
