Maxcess International is a company specializing in manufacturing, and they are seeking a CNC Operator for their 2nd shift. The primary responsibility of this role is to set up and operate CNC Lathe machines while ensuring parts are made within designated specifications.

Responsibilities

Sets up machine – set up tooling – install/machine soft jaws as required

Downloads program via computer

Make offsets to maintain part dimension tolerance. Responsible for ensuring each part is made within designated specifications

Inspects parts using precision measuring instruments – micrometers – calipers – depth micrometers bore gages – plug gages

Operates hoist / automatic band saw - Saw parts to required specification as required

Follows all Safety instructions and practices

Follows work instructions in place

Qualification

CNC Lathe operationPrecision measuring instrumentsBasic machine shop practicesMechanical skillsBasic math skills

Basic machine shop practices

Ability to use precision measuring instruments

Ability to follow instructions

Basic math skills

High school diploma or equivalent

Able to lift 35 lbs. on occasion

Stand for extended periods - 2 hour periods

Some overtime required

Trade School or previous machine shop experience
