AI Generalist
Mission Edge is a social enterprise located in Liberty Station, San Diego, focused on supporting nonprofits through innovative solutions. The AI Generalist will work directly with the COO to implement AI tools and strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization, ultimately helping nonprofits achieve greater impact.

Test every AI tool you can get your hands on (yes, really—this is part of the job)
Figure out which ones are game-changers and which ones are just hype
Build a library of AI solutions that actually work for nonprofits
Create AI Agents & Automations
Design intelligent systems that take repetitive tasks off people's plates
Automate workflows that currently eat up hours of our team's time
Build chatbots, assistants, and tools that make our work feel like magic
Be the person who makes AI accessible (not scary) for everyone
Lead workshops that get people excited about what's possible
Turn AI skeptics into believers through hands-on demos and real results
Identify pain points across the organization and dream up AI solutions
Experiment, fail fast, learn faster, and iterate until you crack it
Show measurable impact: hours saved, money saved, lives improved
Work alongside leadership to chart our AI roadmap
Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI trends and technologies
Help position Mission Edge as a thought leader in nonprofit innovation
