Riddell is seeking an IT Summer Intern to contribute as a valuable IT resource while gaining real-world experience. The intern will support business projects and assist in implementing new processes using Artificial Intelligence and Automation.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, building, and deploying AI/ML models for ongoing and experimental projects

Analyze large datasets and prepare them for model training and evaluation

Collaborate with senior AI researchers, engineers, and data scientists on exploratory research and development tasks

Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy

Contribute to AI-related research papers, documentation, and technical reports

Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas to solve challenges related to AI implementation

Required

Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, or AI-related tools (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)

Strong programming skills in Python (or relevant programming languages)

Experience with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)

Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies

Self-motivated with attention to detail
