Responsibilities
Design and optimize process controls for aerospace manufacturing equipment
Troubleshoot and improve production processes across all stages
Develop RFQs/SOWs, manage vendors, and oversee equipment installation
Lead documentation efforts: SOPs, technical manuals, training materials
Support capital projects, cost analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with PLCs, HMI/SCADA, automation systems, and process troubleshooting
Background in aerospace, advanced materials, or high-spec manufacturing
Experience managing vendors and leading equipment/process projects
Strong technical writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Greenfield experience
Lean/Six Sigma
