Responsibilities

Design and maintain AI governance policies, procedures, and standards that complement existing data governance frameworks
Establish oversight mechanisms for AI systems, including fairness, transparency, and accountability controls
Develop charters and governance models for cross-functional AI governance teams
Implement controls to address emerging risks such as prompt injection attacks, bias, and explainability
Ensure compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act) and internal security protocols
Define standards for AI model testing, auditing, and output contesting
Oversee continuous monitoring of AI systems for performance, ethical compliance, and security vulnerabilities
Lead cross-functional governance committees involving IT, compliance, legal, and business stakeholders
Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on AI governance trends and best practices

Qualification

Required

7+ years in data governance, AI governance, or related fields; experience in enterprise-scale governance frameworks
Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, data privacy regulations, and risk management principles
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders

Preferred

Certifications in AI ethics, data governance, or cloud AI platforms (AWS, Azure)
