Experienced Civil EIT - Aviation

They are seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join their Aviation team, responsible for supporting airport project planning and design, as well as maintaining effective working relationships with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Support planning and design of airport projects
Support aviation design construction projects as the project representative for design
Prepare analysis reports in support of airport planning, design, and construction
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of aviation management and other staff, contractors, and others encountered in the course of work
As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions
Qualification
Required
2+ years of prior civil aviation experience working within a professional design firm
Bachelors or Masters from an ABET accredited university in the field of Civil Engineering
"Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, and/or GIS
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
Ability to work independently and as a team
