Responsibilities

Presents critical thinking skills in specific practice area; applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks

Coordinate construction meetings and produce minutes for review and distribution

Oversee the Contract Support Specialist in office-related duties such as progress, and final estimates, EEO compliance, construction contract changes, etc

Assist members of the CEI team in other office-related tasks

Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbally and writing)

Ability to think independently and also work in a group setting

Knowledge of and experience working with FDOT Standard Specifications, FDOT Standard Plans and FDOT Construction Project Administrator's Manual

Familiarity with FDOT plans, procedures and policies

Qualification

Required

Eight (8) years of CEI experience or eight (8) years of roadway / bridge construction experience on relevant projects

OR a Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree plus two (2) years of engineering experience in the construction of roadway / bridge projects

CTQP Final Estimates Level II or can be obtained within 3 months of hire date

CTQP Quality Control Manager or can be obtained within 3 months of hire date

FDOT Advanced Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) or can be obtained within 3 months of hire date
