Riddell is an organization looking for an IT Summer Intern to join their team. The intern will gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure support and will assist in various IT operations while contributing to the BRG IT team.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing and supporting cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and application health across cloud environments

Support the deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud-based services

Troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to networking, compute, storage, and IAM permissions under supervision

Help maintain documentation on cloud architecture, standards, and operational procedures

Participate in routine operational tasks including patching, backup validation, cost monitoring, and security reviews

Work with senior engineers to automate routine tasks using scripts or tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Bash, PowerShell, or Python)

Assist in onboarding new cloud services and proof-of-concept environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, applications, and data teams to support ongoing initiatives
