The Design Center Assistant Manager will assist with the daily operations of the department, manage project assignments, and provide mentorship to team members.

Responsibilities

Assist with the daily operation of the Design Center department

Assist with project assignments and project planning

Manage department deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness

Monitor project performance and progress

Guide the planning, design, and development of blankets to meet both internal quality standards and client expectations

Provide clear direction, motivation and mentorship to team members

Qualification

Required

Supervisor or Managerial experience of at least 5 employees

Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in the use of AutoCAD/Solid Works and a working knowledge of mechanical systems

Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in flat pattern layout

Computer software skills in MS Office

Hand Mechanical Drawing Skills for obtaining field take-off information

Be physically fit for site work

Be willing to travel throughout the U.S. and Canada

Have a valid driver's license

Preferred

A preferred two-year college degree in an engineering technology design (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Associates in Applied Science, A.A.S.)

Construction site experience is a plus
