Responsibilities
Lead conceptual and detailed estimates from early design to final construction documents
Coordinate bid efforts: RFP development, scope reviews, final pricing, and bid strategy
Mentor and guide junior estimators—help shape the next generation of preconstruction talent
Refine and enhance tools, templates, and cost databases to keep us competitive
Partner closely with development and construction leadership to steer project feasibility and budgeting
Track cost trends and regional market data to sharpen our forecasting and keep us ahead
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
7+ years of estimating/preconstruction experience (with at least 3 years in a senior/lead role)
Proven track record with ground-up multifamily or mixed-use projects
Expert-level mastery of estimating tools: Sage Estimating, OST, Assemble, or similar
Skilled with conceptual budgeting tools and bid leveling strategies
Data-driven mindset: building reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, etc
