Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of software engineers to build competitive and state-of-the-art AI image analysis software solutions
Collaborate with product management, software, and algorithm engineers to design and implement complex, high-quality features
Own technical strategy: identify challenges, propose solutions, and introduce innovative technologies
Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalability and maintainability
Champion agile practices and predictable delivery
Hire, coach, and develop talent in an inclusive, growth-oriented environment
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
3+ years of experience with C#, C++, and modern software development tools
Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing software architecture for enterprise-scale applications
Track record of delivering at least 3 enterprise-scale projects within agreed timelines and quality standards in an agile development environment
Preferred
Experience with 3D graphics (OpenGL, VTK, WebGL)
Knowledge of ML, computer vision, and image processing
Familiarity with microscopy software (ImageJ, Imaris, etc.)
