Responsibilities

Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment by actively participating, taking responsibility, and following established procedures and policies
Lead development and qualification of inbound/assigned prospects
Proactive/outbound prospecting via research, networking, cold calling and collaboration with sales
Utilize Salesforce CRM for lead-to-opportunity management and activity tracking
Develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within an assigned territory
Interface with the customer to understand the customer's overall objectives and requirements
Contribute to the quarterly and annual business forecasting by providing account trends and sharing future client needs

Required

Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills
CRM & Microsoft Office suite experience required
Ability to resolve complex problems
Excellent communication skills to influence managers and negotiate with customers
Knowledge of strategic planning skills and ability to translate corporate and business unit goals and objectives into realistic marketing and sales plan
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a team player
Ability to work in a general office environment
Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone
Ability to work flexible hours, as needed
Ability to lift 25-50lbs (luggage)
Domestic US and Canadian travel, estimated less than 25%

Preferred

Experience in professional services sales development is a plus
Knowledge of computer hardware and software
Hunter mentality to cold call prospects proactively
