Responsibilities
Process weekly payroll for exempt, non-exempt, union, and non-union
Maintain payroll data integrity, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay changes
Calculate and enter deductions, garnishments, and adjustments accurately
Prepare and issue paychecks in-house, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
Audit payroll transactions to maintain accuracy and compliance
Generate standard and ad hoc payroll reports for Finance, HR, and leadership
Utilize SAP ERP for all payroll-related functions
Troubleshoot and resolve payroll discrepancies in partnership with HR and Operations
Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Serve as a point of contact for payroll-related questions from managers
Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining confidentiality
Qualification
Required
3+ years of payroll experience in a high-volume environment
Strong knowledge of payroll principles, wage and hour laws, and multi-state payroll
Experience with large ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred
Experience processing union payroll
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or large-scale operations
