Sr. IT Systems Specialist - Document Management

The Sr. IT Systems Specialist - Document Management is responsible for the design, development, configuration, deployment, and support of Olin’s global enterprise Documentum solution, collaborating with IT and business partners to ensure effective solution delivery.

Responsibilities

Analyzes, troubleshoots, customizes, and modifies global enterprise document management solutions
Develops, installs, configures and supports enhancements to current applications
Documents business requirements then design and develop custom applications to meet those needs
Provides training and mentoring to team members on Documentum features and methodologies
Works collaboratively with IT and business partners to evaluate and deploy new Documentum components, features or enhancements to expand application use
Oversees third party application support teams and contractors as it applies to Olin’s Documentum environment
Coordinates application patching, troubleshoots application problems, and monitors ticket system to address issues reported by the end-users
Ensure alignment to Olin’s architecture and security standards

Required

Minimum of 10 years of related IT experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience with implementing, managing and supporting enterprise document management solutions
Experience supporting Linux and Windows operating systems
Experience supporting database solutions in SQL required
Proven problem solver with experience working in an enterprise setting with business and IT resources
Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to navigate the technical landscape and end-to-end process to make corresponding recommendations/adjustments
Must possess a valid US driver's license
May be required to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) if working on site at certain Olin locations
Degree must be from a school that is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the Secretary of Education of the U.S. Department of Education or equivalent program from an international university

Preferred

Bachelor's Degree; Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred
Development experience preferred
OpenText or Documentum preferred
MS SQL Server preferred
