Responsibilities
Lead daily area operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals
Coordinate staffing, assign work, and ensure proper coverage throughout the area
Communicate area expectations, updates, and operational priorities to team members
Support employee engagement by providing coaching, guidance, and day-to-day leadership
Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to act fast on challenges
Monitor performance indicators (output, downtime, scrap, attendance) and address issues promptly
Maintain accurate shift logs and reporting
Promote a safe work environment by leading by example and by enforcing safety policies. Work daily to build a safer environment
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Adopt the mentality of making our best better
Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement across the area
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years of manufacturing experience required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and professionalism
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of safety standards, production process, and manufacturing best practices
Preferred
Experience in a lead, coordinator, or informal leadership role strongly preferred
