DCGS Lowband Software Support Engineer (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Manage multiple airborne SIGINT sensor missions and processes simultaneously at a Core site
Operates and interfaces with multiple aircraft, sensors, sites, networks, systems, and O&M personnel
Provides updates to Maintenance Technician processes
Provides sensor troubleshooting and ground system fault resolution; identifies, resolves, and communicates issues with Low Band Systems, infrastructure, enterprise services, other SIGINT systems support such as recommending updates to SIGINT systems, SW, and networks
Create, update, and respond to Incident tickets
Monitors the SIGINT system and networks health/status (Sensor, platform, network paths, DCGS SIGINT systems, and SIGINT related enterprise services)
Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the SIGINT systems and networks associated with ground components
Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the SIGINT systems associated with End-to-End network paths/DSFS systems
Provides SIGINT and networks sustainment support during system upgrades
Monitors the networks connections between the SIGINT sensors and ground equipment
Provide SIGINT process and network improvements/recommendations
Provide systems status (includes sensor) to operations and maintenance personnel completes SIGINT portion of end-to-end mission debrief and closes debrief if appropriate
Performs Pre-Mission, Mission execution and Post mission responsibilities in support of the SR systems

Required

Must have ≥2 years of SIGINT experience
Understanding of Computer Operations and Networks: Understanding of Signal Intelligence and Knowledge of LINUX and Microsoft Windows system administration
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Current DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, CAP, etc.)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must be able to work shifts

Preferred

Prior DCGS and SIGINT experience
Working knowledge of COTS components, operational concepts, failure indications, troubleshooting techniques, and recovery methodologies
Experience with military SIGINT domains such as processing, exploitation and dissemination (PED) architectures
Administration of operator accounts
Experience with SW development methods (shell scripts, JavaScript, Python, C/C++, C#, Java, XML, HTML, etc.), in Virtual Machines (VM) and knowledge of SecureView
